City: Burbank, CA/ Seattle, WA/ Orlando, FL
Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Hybrid (4 days a week onsite)
Duration: 2 months with possible extension
Rate Range: Up to$100/hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)
Work Authorization: GC, USC, All valid EADs except OPT, CPT, H1B
Must Have:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Expertise with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Microsoft Identity Manager, and ADFS/AADC
- Experience integrating multiple LDAP providers and hybrid identity environments
- Strong understanding of infrastructure components (domain controllers, sites & services, connectivity) and logical aspects (GPO management, directory structure, management toolsets)
- Proven experience engineering and implementing enterprise-level identity solutions
- Solid understanding of M365 application dependencies and identity federation
- Experience leading or supporting large-scale IT initiatives
- Prior exposure to Okta (implementation or migration) preferred
Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing ADFS environments and identify functional and architectural gaps
- Lead the migration of M365 and dependent applications from ADFS/Entra ID to Okta
- Define and document the migration plan, sequencing strategy, and integration approach
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure smooth decommissioning of ADFS
- Design and document future-state IAM architecture leveraging Okta capabilities
- Conduct technical assessments of IAM products and solutions to align with enterprise strategy
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from ADFS-to-Okta migration and federation integrations
- Document configurations, policies, and operational runbooks for ongoing support
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to the operations and support teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required
- Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in Identity and Access Management engineering
- Proven ability to manage or contribute to complex, multi-team migration projects
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience working in outsourced or vendor-supported IT environments
