The Technical Director is technically oriented and serves as subject matter expert for technical services provided to clients. This includes developing and advancing services, providing technical expertise to project teams, and business development teams. This position also includes maintaining relationships with clients and key decision makers to help identify follow-on business opportunities and maintain customer intelligence.
What You Will Do:
Provide technical expertise and direction to project teams, ensuring project planning and execution align with objectives.
Act as a subject matter expert in OT/ICS cybersecurity, offering technical guidance and oversight on client engagements.
Provide technical review and quality assurance of project deliverables to maintain high delivery standards.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
Actively attend meetings with new and existing clients to discuss technical topics and address their needs.
Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships by effectively translating technical findings into actionable business recommendations.
Partner with business development teams to communicate client needs to account managers and align our offerings accordingly.
Business Development:
Participate in marketing activities, conference presentations, and development of technical whitepapers to position the firm as a thought leader in OT/industrial cybersecurity.
Support proposal development, including drafting proposals, estimating levels of effort, and coordinating client pitches.
Identify opportunities for additional services with existing customers by staying informed about their business challenges and objectives.
Develop the business pipeline through networking, research, and client intelligence.
Framework & Compliance Alignment:
Ensure all engagements align with relevant cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Team Development and Mentorship:
Coach and mentor junior consultants and engineers, fostering skills development and knowledge sharing within the team.
Support the technical growth of staff by providing guidance, training, and opportunities for their professional development.
Strategic Collaboration and Thought Leadership:
Partner with organizational leadership to refine practice strategies, assist with go-to-market initiatives, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Represent the firm in industry forums and contribute to publications that strengthen our reputation in OT/ICS cybersecurity.

Knowledge of department related technical disciplines.
The human relations skills necessary to maintain positive client contacts and to provide leadership and motivation to subordinate staff and peers.
Develop and implement logical solutions to complex problems.
Undertake short- and long-term planning to provide efficient and effective scheduling of work assignments.
It Would Be Nice If You Have:
Credentials such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert, or sector-specific security certifications preferred.
Salary Range:
$200-225k
